Special Flocculant for Mineral Slurry Concentration (Q659K)
Classification:
Product Description
1. Performance and Applications
During the operation of the slurry thickening device, the phenomenon of overflow running turbid often occurs, which not only affects the reuse of overflow water but also causes the loss of concentrate and environmental pollution. To solve the problem of turbidity in the thickener and achieve the desired underflow velocity, it is necessary to control the feed concentration and flow rate, the dosage of flocculant, and the concentration or density of overflow and underflow. Choosing the appropriate flocculant and dosage concentration is one of the methods to solve the problem of overflow turbidity in the thickener.
Q659K slurry thickening special flocculant is a water-soluble high molecular polymer with excellent flocculation and dewatering performance. It is mainly used for the treatment of slurry thickening and dewatering, characterized by low dosage, high dewatering efficiency, and easy separation. The recommended dosage concentration is generally 80-200 grams/ton of concentrate, with the specific amount determined based on the properties of the slurry.
2. Quality Indicators
Indicator Name | Indicator |
Appearance | Colorless or slightly yellow solid |
Solid Content (%) | >=85.0 |
Dissolution Time (min) | ≤90 |
3. Usage and Dosage
1. Preparation of stock solution: It is best to use deionized water for preparation, with a recommended concentration of 1~2‰, and stir at a speed of about 100 rpm in the dissolution tank for preparation. The dissolution temperature should not exceed 50℃.
2. Continuous dosing: Transfer the stock solution to the dosing tank, open the metering pump, and calculate the dosing flow rate based on the slurry amount. Allow the dosing solution to be continuously and evenly injected into the system.
3. When using, the optimal dosage should be determined through testing based on the actual conditions of the slurry.
4. Packaging and Storage
Packaged in 20-25kg plastic woven bags or lined plastic paper bags. Moisture-proof and heat-sensitive. Should be stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated place. The shelf life is one year.
