Special Biocide for Reverse Osmosis Membrane (Q559D)
Classification:
Product Description
1. Performance and Applications
This product is a broad-spectrum biological inhibitor that can quickly exert a bactericidal effect. As a maintenance measure for biological control solutions, it is mainly applied in reverse osmosis systems troubled by biological contamination. It is added during normal operation. The frequency of dosing can be determined after standardizing the system's performance, taking into account the biological activity of the influent, effluent, and permeate water. It is widely used as a disinfectant, bactericide, algaecide, slime stripping agent, and anti-fog agent in: circulating cooling water systems, oilfield reinjection water systems, bactericides, algaecides, and slime stripping agents in the paper industry; preservatives for paints, wax products, inks, cleaners, surfactants, mud, and resins; bactericides and algaecides in the mechanical manufacturing industry for process water, air purification systems, and municipal water landscape.
2. Quality Indicators
Indicator Name | Indicator Requirements |
Appearance | Colorless to light amber liquid |
pH value (1% aqueous solution) | ≤5.0 |
Density (20℃·g/cm³) | >=1.10 |
Effective content (%) | ≥20 |
3. Usage Method
When used as a slime stripping agent for water treatment, the dosing concentration is 100~200mg/L. When used as a bactericide for water treatment in circulating cooling water systems, it is added at 50~100mg/L based on the retained water volume. For membrane pollution control:
Intermittent Dosing: For systems with not very serious biological contamination, add once a week, lasting 2~3 hours, with a dosing concentration of 100ppm. If the total bacterial count in the influent is >100CFU/ml or if a biofilm has definitely formed in the reverse osmosis system, it is recommended to add at a concentration of 150ppm, lasting 3~5 hours.
Continuous Dosing: When it is desired that no obvious biofilm appears in the system, a continuous dosing scheme can be adopted, with a recommended dosing concentration of 3~8ppm (the actual dosage should be adjusted according to the normal fluctuations in bacterial content).
4. Packaging and Storage
Packaged in 25Kg/200Kg plastic barrels; prevent exposure to sunlight and rain during transportation; store in a ventilated, dry place below 40℃; avoid freezing, heating, or direct sunlight; product shelf life is 6 months.
