In order to improve the efficiency of wet phosphoric acid purification and significantly reduce the cost of phosphoric acid purification, our company began developing wet phosphoric acid preliminary purification agents at the beginning of 2019. In the production process of compound fertilizers, the use and selection of preliminary purification agents for phosphoric acid are extremely important to improve the quality of phosphoric acid. The preliminary purification agent can quickly promote the sedimentation of suspended impurities in phosphoric acid at a lower dosage, and can also react to some extent with impurity ions such as iron, magnesium, and aluminum in phosphoric acid, generating insoluble precipitates, and has a good capturing function for colored organic matter in phosphoric acid, thereby improving the quality of phosphoric acid. Through continuous research, exploration, and on-site device testing, a mature and stable additive product has been formed, which has been successfully tested in several companies such as Yuntianhua, Sinochem, Guizhou Phosphate, and Anhui Tonghua, receiving unanimous praise.
At the beginning of 2024, our company's phosphoric acid preliminary purification agent product made another breakthrough. At a large group company’s Gansu company phosphate ammonium plant in Guizhou, during the production of 64% yellow diammonium phosphate, due to the high organic matter in the phosphate ore, the acid quality of the produced phosphoric acid turned black, making sedimentation difficult, and the Lab value of diammonium phosphate was unqualified, with a b value of only 33, failing to meet the group’s requirements. After using the phosphoric acid sedimentation agent independently developed and produced by our company, the clarity of the phosphoric acid was effectively improved, the clarification time was shortened, and the b value of yellow diammonium phosphate increased from 33 to 38, meeting the group’s Lab value requirements. The customer evaluated that this product is easy to add without affecting the production process, and the effect is significant. The success of this device test further promoted deeper cooperation between our company and this company, and added new successful experiences to the application of our phosphoric acid preliminary purification agent.
In the future, the phosphate chemical industry will develop towards a more refined and high-end direction.
